Md. Khalilur Rahman (Bangladesh)

Md. Khalilur Rahman is a civil servant and Deputy Secretary to the Government of Bangladesh. He is a published poet both in English and Bengali. His poems have been published in several international anthologies, i.e. Inner Child Publication, USA, Amaravati Poetic Prism, Vijayawada, India, etc. ‘Dinner in a Moonlit Night’ is one of his published poetry books. Having an open and peace-loving mind, he loves to be a world citizen.


Dancing Hearts with the Cosmic Glow

Dancing on the clouds' floor
My soul is dancing on the clouds' floor!
My heart is dancing for my beloved
As if I am in the clouds' closest!
Dancing I and the souls nearby
Looking for lives and flying, wanna fly?
The souls with enormous pompous beauty
All my mates are on the sacred duty

Dancing dancing dancing hey!
Dancing heartfully no dismay!
Heavenly feelings and heavenly thought
Has given us the feelings universe broad
Heaven is created on the clouds
My lovely co-souls are screaming loud

Wings of fairy empower us to fly
Flying absurd without feeling shy
Lofty hearts and lofty souls
Flying together being co-souls
Dancing on the clouds' floor
Dancing minds with the cosmic glow!


Let the World be a Heaven

Numerous, beautiful, thoughtful friends
Virtual though, friends create trends
Minds touch minds
Being in the blinds

Of geographical boundaries
Minds fly like beautiful fairies
Friendly hearts, kind
Friendship is blind

Lives feel lives
And express thoughts kind
O virtual world, thanks to thee
Because of thy presence
I could glee!

I could read the feelings
And difference in dealings
Of various human minds
Minds are like shrines!

I wish I could meet you all
Peace be upon you, let peace fall!
On the way of your lives, o friends
Let's forget the boundaries and create good trends

Good trends for humanity without any division
Let the world be a heaven, let's nourish this vision!

To create a magic
On the stage

Touch the classic
Edge of music
To run a sledge

The sledge of songs
Saying no wrong
O friend on stage

Feel the rhythm
Through the prism
Of viewers eye

Create a chime

Dinner in a Moon Lit Night

How if we take dinner sitting face to face?
Eyes into eyes in a moon lit night with the God's grace!
Only you and I having dinner in a moon lit night
The Moon is showering its heavenly light!

Seeing this couple, it has become bright!
Only you and I, sight into sight!
Brighter than ever, lovelier than ever!
Charming than ever, gorgeous than ever!

Our eyes are taking snaps of each other’s hearts!
Only we bosom two are in our charts.
Find we dream our ever-lasting company,
And weave our golden future, create harmony.

Thy drumming heart is waiting for me!
Oh friend of mine, Oh my angel thee!

We are having shower beneath the brightest moon,
The night has reached it's beautiful noon!
My heart is drumming for you and yours for me,
We are sitting heart in heart, oh great thee!

The night has got its brightest bright!
Our hearts are dancing, eyes are bright.
We are sitting together oh bloomed flower heart in heart!
Let this sitting be our fate, let us not go.
