Poem by Ana Toma
In the endNothing will matter in the end
It’s just a recollection of memories
Great ones, hurtful ones, blessed ones
Summertime brings all your joyful years
Building sand castles, living in a fantasy
Dreaming of places you’ve never been
Nothing will matter in the end
The hand who’s going to hold yours
For the last time, it will melt your heart
All your grays will be shining like sun rays
And your eyes will be searching
for those who did you wrong
You will forgive and you will forget
You will ask for a mirror to greet yourself
The young-you, and the old-you
Your beauty will fade away like the moonlight
Your smile will vanish like the sunset
Your memories will disappear like the rainbows
Nothing will matter in the end
