Poem by Mahmoud Said KawashMELODY OF LOYALTY(In both English and Arabic)Your evening is full of goodness, happiness, joy and pleasure Your evening is full of the features of optimism, hope, contentment and good luck In quiet and warm times, scented with the finest perfumes I hope you are well, healthy, with a peace of mind and security, safety and stability Reassure me of yourself to comfort me and do not prolong your absence You may make me angry and lose me and my love forever Oh the joyful spirit, in your absence I live with inflamed suspicions Alone in the valleys of despair, pessimism and emptiness My perfumes burn and lose their fragrance, between the incense burners and your long absence I wander in the futility of my boats, lazy and cramped in the mist Then I come back home with trembling fingertips Playing the melody of loyalty and the fulfillment of vows.
لَحْنُ الوفاء!!
قال لها:
مساؤكِ كلُ الخيرِ والبركةِ والسعدِ والسعادةِ والهناءْ والسرور
مساؤكِ بسماتُ أملٍ وتفاؤلٍ بأوقاتٍ هادئةٍ ودافئةٍ ومعطرةٍ بفاخرِ العطور
أرجو أنْ تكوني بخيرٍ وصحةٍ وراحةِ بالٍ وأمنٍ وأمانٍ واستقرارٍ وحبور
طمنيني عنكِ لِتُريحِيني، ولا تطيلي الغيابَ فتُغضبيني
وربما تخسريني!!
فأنا يا مُهجةَ الروحِ في غيابِكِ:
أعيشُ مُلْتَهِبَ الظنونِ ومجمري
ثَمِلٌ بأوديةِ الفراغِ وحيدُ
ومعاطري احترقتْ وَجَفَّ عبيرُها
بينَ المباخرِ والوِصالُ بعيدُ
تختالُ في عبثِ الشّجونِ زوارقي
كَسْلى وَشَدْوِي في الضَّبابِ شَرِيدُ
وأعودُ مُرْتَجِفَ الأناملِ عازِفاَ
لحنَ الوفاءِ وللوفاءِ عهودُ
أُطروحةِ الذِّكْرى بِلَيْلِ هواجسي
مَرَّتْ وأيْقَظَها الْهَوَى الموعودُ!!
ترى هل وصلتكِ الرسالةْ؟
