And us?

In the nonchalance of the diffuse dawn,
Poseidon foams.
Humanity sinks.
From oceanic madness
irrationality emerges
in ethyl odours.
Inebriation.
Incoherence.
Alienation.
Disformed waves
obscure the would-be dawn.
And us?

In paper boats we try to survive

And the World?

On History's curve
humanity skids.
Ruby ash
infests the future.
In the utopia's gasp
flow out tears
in gagged voices.
And Peace?
Forged with fire and salt
vanishes into common graves.
The herald of Death
pretends to betray the oracle
of the supposed dawn.

And the World?
The World agonises in the complexity of the birth.
