THIS WOMAN WE ARE

This woman that we are
that rises with thorns on
wash her dignity as usual
where ever she desires
wraps it in solidarity clothes
loves
This woman that we are
sits at the equal table
with transitory men
while the feet rest on the chairs
and heals the wounds of the century
This woman that we are
hangs her voice on the wires
where the bird trills
fights for wine and bread
Flying
This woman that we are
erased from dictionary
the word impossible.



ESTA MUJER QUE SOMOS
 
Esta mujer que somos
se levanta con las espinas puestas
lava su dignidad como es costumbre
donde le viene en gana
la envuelve en ropas solidarias
ama
Esta mujer que somos
se sienta en la mesa igualitaria
con hombres transitorios
mientras los pies descansan en las sillas
y cura las heridas del siglo
Esta mujer que somos
tiende su voz en los alambres
donde el pájaro trina
guerrea por el vino y el pan
vuela
Esta mujer que somos
borró del diccionario
la palabra imposible.
