THE DARK BELOW

A wise man told me you need a God
And I started hunting for him.
He told me
"Become A and not B".
I agreed.

Soon I found a fierce competition
Between A and B
And I came to know
There were C and D too
Like Houses in a School.

All those who are doing wrong
To life systems
Belong to one or the other House
Nothing stops them
In their blind pursuit.

I cry water water when I lack water
And food food when hungry
They make my cry God God
Am I truly a godless creature?
Why they make me run after Him?

God is divine while godliness
Is a human attribute
The more you profess godliness,
The greater is the darkness
Below the lamp.
